From 2014 to 2016, Bidayyat for Audiovisual Arts announced once a year the launch of its grant program to support medium and long documentary projects. The announcement of the grant program was through Bidayyat’s website and Facebook page. The announcement remained open for almost one month. After the closure of the submission, only completed project proposals got evaluated by an independent committee of experts in the field of documentary film industry. Bidayyat, then, announced the names and the number of the succeeded projects and the amount granted for each one.
